Taking a break from ‘Kaththi’ starring Vijay and Samantha in lead roles, directed A.R.Murugadoss was in Mumbai through last week to promote ‘Holiday’ the Bollywood remake of his super hit Tamil film ‘Thupakki’. The Akshay Kumar-Sonakshi Sinha starrer that released over the weekend has been doing phenomenal business and the opening weekend collection is INR 43.2 Crores in India alone. Sparing no time to celebrate the success, the director is back on the sets of ‘Kaththi’. The new schedule of the film has begun in Chennai from today (June 9). This schedule will reportedly be the longest one that will last for more than a month. Apart from Chennai, some scenes will be canned in other cities like Hyderabad in this schedule. ‘Kaththi’ is being produced by Ayngarana International and Lyca Entertainments and music is being scored by Anirudh Ravichander. The film is expected to hit the screens as a Diwali treat.
